Collected personal data
When you send an enquiry we receive what you type into the form: your name, your email address, your message and, if you choose to give them, a phone number, your dates and the number of guests.
The server that hosts this website keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time) for security and fault-finding.
Purpose of collecting data
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to arrange and manage your stay. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and the steps needed to enter into a booking with you.
We do not sell your details or use them for marketing. Enquiries reach us by email, so they pass through our email delivery and mailbox providers. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle your booking and any follow-up, then delete them.
Cookies and third-party services
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and images are served from this site.
The map on the Contact and Information pages comes from Google Maps. It only loads when you press “Show the map”, at which point Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@saddlecottage.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
